The Caleb Andrew Meakins Foundation has been set up in honour of Caleb and his father Andrew. Caleb and Andrew inspired so many and their Christian faith led them to speak out against poverty, exploitation and injustice.
We want to continue their legacy by supporting causes that they were deeply passionate about.
Our first goal is to raise £10,000 for the Ellilta project in Addis Ababa
Since 1996, Ellilta has helped to restore over 1000 women from a life of prostitution, with 90% of women never returning to the streets. Ellilta has particular significance to The Meakins family, as Caleb’s mother Ruth helped establish their work whilst living in Addis Ababa in the 1990s.

Many of you will have met Caleb but there may be fewer of you who met Andrew, his Dad.
Andy was a mighty man of God who was tragically killed when Caleb was 7 years-old. He was a hard working water engineer, a committed family man and a quiet and steadfast friend. He was passionate about providing hope and support to the vulnerable and marginalised.
Caleb carried on this legacy and inspired many to do the same.
